Alfa Laval recently opened a brand new manufacturing site in San Bonifacio, Italy, for the production of welded heat exchangers. The new, highly advanced facility includes customer research and training areas and will primarily supply heat exchangers to customers in Europe.

The plant in Italy, which opened in late September, is Alfa Laval's most modern and sustainable production facility to date, with rooftop solar panels providing electricity. It has a digital warehouse management system to monitor the flow of materials and goods, an advanced automated production setup, an on-site training center and a new research and development laboratory. innovative products for heat pump, air conditioning and refrigeration.
