Slovenia's ELES joins forces with Renault in e-mobility project

Slovenian power grid operator ELES is partnering with Renault in an electric mobility project to demonstrate the use of advanced electric vehicle charging infrastructure and technologies.

ELES, together with 32 partners, has designed the project "Demonstration of User-Friendly E-Vehicle Charging Solutions for Promoting Mass Use of E-Vehicles in Europe - INCIT-EV", the company said in a statement on Monday.

INCIT-EV is designed in accordance with the concept of integrated development of the E8 E-Vehicle Mass Charging Infrastructure developed by ELES experts. The project partners will also explore the unconscious preferences of e-vehicle users with the help of the latest neuroscience techniques, with the aim of adapting the development of technology to the subjective expectations of users, ELES said.

The project is co-financed by the European Union through the Horizon 2020 programme in the amount of 15 million euro ($16.8 million).
