Skoda starts mass production of electric Citigo - Six months since the world's first fully electric Skoda was introduced

Electric Citigo has already sold out the boot series, but the cars actually started production just yesterday. On November 20, the first electric car of the Czech automobile factory, intended for the end customer, rolled off the production line in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Full technical data has been out for a long time and you can read everything in a comprehensive article here , just in speed: The front wheel drive of the Citigo electric car is powered by an 83 hp electric motor that delivers a decent 212 Nm of torque from zero. The Lithium-Ion battery has a capacity of 32.2 kWh, can be charged from zero to eighty percent in a single hour of time using a quick charger, and Škoda states that it can handle up to 260 kilometers when fully charged. Acceleration from zero to one hundred takes 12.3 seconds and the maximum is limited to 130 km / h, which, however, for the needs of an electric vehicle, which targets almost exclusively in urban traffic, quite enough.
